VISION
Connexité – the Gatineau innovation zone project – is a collaboration space acting as a catalyst for technological and social innovation in the fields of cybersecurity, digital identity and digital health.
This is where investors, future entrepreneurs, businesses and the research community meet up, surrounded by high-end infrastructure and expertise, to collaborate on the creation and marketing of innovative technological products.

Connexité encompasses the territory of the Université du Québec en Outaouais, Zibi and the Fonderie, three sites in the heart of Gatineau that offer first-rate infrastructures to support collaboration and innovation.
SECTORS OF ACTIVITY
Activities of the Connexité project are organized into four major sectors:
talent development;
fostering innovative entrepreneurship;
attraction of investments; and
market entry.
DEVELOPMENT
PHASES
Animation and collaboration activities linked to the four major sectors are put in place.
Coordinating bodies of the Connexité project move to the first buildings of the Fonderie site, becoming its nerve center.
All activities and infrastructures linked to the previously cited four major sectors that can be moved to the Fonderie site are transferred there.
