Gatineau, 7 June 2022 — Cilex is proud to reveal its role as an accelerator-relay for the Momentum service managed by the Mouvement des accélérateurs d’innovation du Québec (MAIN) and supported by the Ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation (MEI) of Quebec.
For nearly a year now, this new tool has allowed Cilex to facilitate the market entry phase of high-potential innovative businesses.
Momentum is a customized business program of up to $75,000 designed to accelerate the marketing phase of Quebec startups. Constructeur Virtuel, Medzy, Synecdo, PlanHub and Éditions Fortissimo are companies coached by Cilex who are currently benefiting from this service.
“It is an honour to have been appointed by MAIN as a relay partner. This gives us a seat next to the major players of the Quebec innovative ecosystem. We have numerous innovative businesses with high-growth potential in the Outaouais region and this role allows us to attract more of them for incubation,” said Martin A. Thanks to the financial support of the MEI, 171 businesses have benefited from the Momentum service since 2018—then under its previous name PMEit—and up to 375 more will receive coaching in the province by March 2023.
