Gatineau, 10 January 2022 — Cilex management is proud to announce the incubator’s involvement in the first virtual hackathon organized by UQODE, the programming club of the Université du Québec en Outaouais.
While projects and collaborations keep increasing for the Cilex team, Charles Lapointe, innovation catalyst and seasoned entrepreneur, will be at the event to host the seminar Démarrer sa startup : 9 étapes pour partir le feu. The presentation is designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs understand the importance of validating their business project before launching their company, while also detailing the steps needed to complete said validation.
The hackathon is a programming marathon during which groups of developers work together on various coding projects. This creative workshop is open to all and focuses on the creation of innovative IT solutions, the improvement of existing software, and the development of applications for various digital technologies.
Cilex management views this a timely opportunity to collaborate closely with a post-secondary institution of the Outaouais region, in order to support the future players of the region’s innovative ecosystem and to foster entrepreneurship in students.
“As a partner of the Université du Québec en Outaouais, our team is proud to take part in this first virtual hackathon. Events like these allow students to put forward their innovative project ideas, and then concretize and validate them,” added Martin A. Roy, Cilex General Director.
The seminar Démarrer sa startup : 9 étapes pour partir le feu will be offered Sunday, January 23, 2022, through the Discord messaging platform. The Cilex team invites you to register for the UQODE hackathon to attend the virtual presentation.
