Gatineau Backs Cilex for the Creation of an Excubation Program in Cybersecurity

Gatineau, 14 December 2021 — Cilex management is proud to announce their plans to develop a new excubation program in cybersecurity to benefit Outaouais startup businesses.

This project is made possible thanks to a $100,000 investment from the City of Gatineau’s new support fund for non-profit organizations that foster entrepreneurship.

The new excubation program in cybersecurity will enable about 10 startups currently in their acceleration phase to connect with big businesses and organizations in Gatineau with specific needs. The goal of the program will be to solve the various issues faced by these entities through innovative solutions while facilitating business development for the chosen startups.

Cilex management is enormously proud to take part in new economic development efforts in Gatineau.

“Our coaching team led by Chloé Martinetti has been working on this innovative program for nearly two years now. I am convinced that this project will help fulfill the needs of Gatineau’s big businesses and organizations, and will enable startups to propose innovative solutions to current challenges,” said Martin A. Roy, General Director of Cilex.

Furthermore, various Cilex partners and collaborators have also received financial support from the City of Gatineau to launch their own projects, including the Regroupement des gens d’affaires de la Basse-Lièvre which received backing for its awareness and support program for businesses facing customer service issues.
