Currently undergoing a digital transformation process, book manufacturer Imprimerie Gauvin has obtained multiple grants, including one of $150,000 from the Government of Quebec as part of its Programme innovation. This grant will allow the company to continue working on the optimization of its processes and production methods, especially its GoLibro® platform, dedicated to book publishers.
A specialist in the manufacturing of high-quality soft-cover books for short- and medium-run printing, Imprimerie Gauvin aims to offer book printing services for the international market.
In order to implement this digital transformation, Imprimerie Gauvin has called upon the services of the Cilex team, notably Véronique Nabelsi, Director of R&D, as lead researcher, and Alan Bernardi, innovation expert, both certified Industry 4.0 auditors.
“We are very pleased to learn about this! Our team has been working with the team at Imprimerie Gauvin for several months now to help them with their digital diagnosis and transformation plan. Thanks to the implemented government programs combined with our expertise, businesses have all the tools they need to succeed in their digital transformation.” - Martin A. Roy, General Director of Cilex.
“We really enjoy the synergy we have with the Cilex team! Our manufacturing business progresses smoothly thanks to the expertise and knowledge of each specialist. Innovative development is taken to the next level. This collaboration also helps us gain easier access to grants, including the one obtained through the Programme Innovation from the Quebec Government!” - André Gauvin, CEO Imprimerie Gauvin Ltd.
