The entrepreneur behind Alix, Cédric Lavergne, has been chosen as a provincial finalist for the 24th Grand Prize Gala of the OSEntreprendre Challenge.
Coached by Cilex, Mr. Lavergne won the Business Creation section for the Outaouais region during the regional event on May 4th. Having officially launched during the past few weeks, his home cleaning business is currently undergoing a beta testing phase with the help of Farid Dagher, innovation catalyst at Cilex.
For the Alix visionary, the provincial OSEntreprendre gala is a golden opportunity to showcase his business.
“This event has pushed me to flesh out my sales pitch and practice showcasing my business. I would like to have shareholders one day, so I have to sharpen my skills. Mr. Dagher is a great help with that,” added Cédric Lavergne.
Another Outaouais finalist of the 24th OSEntreprendre Challenge is Shop moi ça, a company owned by Lissa and Roxanne Moore and a current ambassador of the Outaouais d’abord campaign. They have been nominated in the Doing Business Together section of the challenge. Shop moi ça offers themed gift boxes of local products and is now doing business all over Canada.
The provincial final of the OSEntreprendre challenge will be held on June 8th at the Palais Montcalm in Montréal, where 600 people from the 17 regions of Québec will gather to celebrate entrepreneurship.
The Cilex and Espace-O team send heartfelt congratulations to the entrepreneurs behind Alix and Shop moi ça!
